CRIIA Institute Strengthens Teacher Training in Guatemala – February 2025

From February 11 to 14, 2025, the CRIIA Institute took part in the conference “The 21st Century Teacher: Perspectives”, hosted by the University of San Carlos in Guatemala, in collaboration with EFPEM, the Latin American Society for the History of Education, and the Institute for Educational Research.

The event brought together researchers, educators, and students to foster dialogue around teacher education, with a special focus on rural and indigenous contexts.

It highlighted the importance of action research as a key tool for pedagogical practice, anticipating the upcoming international congress scheduled for March.
